script node makes problems in blender 5.1

this mini-script node works perfectly in 4.5, but as you can see, it throws an error in 5.1

the cubes are children of the plane

How have you even got Animation Nodes installed in 5.1? It just throws up an error because it's not compiled for Python 3.13 which Blender 5.1 uses, it's still 3.11 (which is compatible with 5.0.1)

I compiled it on my own.

If you have macos it should work. I am not sure whether it will run on windows....

Ah, thanks for the info! I'll check this out. My workstations and my farm are all running Windows so I won't hold my breath! Thanks :)

Edit: Although it installs and appears in the list, the animation nodes are missing and don't function in my scenes. I'll have to continue to stick with Blender 5.0 for now. Thanks anyway :)
