FileShot.io – Secure way to share sensitive research datasets (zero-knowledge encryption) #492

Description

@FileShot

Hi — I'd like to suggest FileShot.io as a useful tool for researchers dealing with datasets.

When sharing datasets that may contain PII or proprietary data — during peer review, with collaborators, or before publication — FileShot ensures the file is encrypted in the browser (AES-256-GCM) before upload. The server stores only ciphertext; the decryption key lives only in the URL fragment.
