Brief Summary
It would be useful to have a built-in dynamic view that displays the N most recently modified entries (for example, the last 10 or 20), sorted by modification time descending.
Current workaround: Create a saved search for * and manually sort by Last Modified. This works, but it shows all entries and requires manual setup.
Suggested implementation:
- configurable number of entries shown
- based on Last Modified timestamp
- available as a startup/default view
Example
Similar to the results of the "is:expired-3", which opens as a search in the default view configuration.
The saved search for * plus descending modification time workaround demonstrates that the underlying capability already exists, it's just missing automatic limiting and presentation.
Context
Use case: Many users have a small set of frequently changing entries, but the set is not stable enough to maintain manually with Favorites, tags, or a dedicated group. A "Recent Entries" view would provide a self-maintaining workspace.
