CS + Applied Math @ Rice University 🌾
I like building things that are cool and fun, especially around:
AI · backend systems · infrastructure · numerical methods · and “wait... can we actually make this work?”
-
♠️ OpenSeat — a poker arena where humans and AI agents can play at the same table. -
📚 Open Source — contributing to projects such as JabRef and learning how large production codebases actually work.
-
🧠 Learning & Research — currently exploring reinforcement learning, concurrency, ML systems, and other fun systems problems at Rice.
- 🎬 AI video generation — made generative video pipeline reliable (OpenStax Summer AI Intern 2026)
- 🌱 Sprout Wellness — built a mental health and wellness app, available in App Store(Second round experiments in Fall 2026 Dr. Parsons' psychology class)
- λ Haskell Learning Tool — built an interactive platform for type inference (Coming out in Spring 2027 for Rice COMP 312!)
- 🔬 Scientific Machine Learning — researched CNN-based methods for the Discontinuous Galerkin Method (Prof. Beatrice Rivière's research group)
I lead the AWS Student Builder Group at Rice University.
If you're interested in cloud, AI, software engineering, meeting other builders, connecting with industry, or just making something cool, come join us!
